A deeply personal mission.
Like many families, the idea for Prime Years started when we realised our own loved ones were spending too much time alone. While their medical needs might have been met, their emotional and social needs were being critically underserved.
We searched for a service that focused purely on joy, conversation, and shared activities rather than generic care visits. Finding nothing that met our standards, we built it ourselves.
Today, Prime Years stands as the agency we wish we had found back then. An agency where empathy, patience, and true personality matching are the baseline, not an afterthought.
Kai Jackson is the Services Director and founder of Prime Years Companion Agency. With 26 years of professional experience in care and support services, Kai has worked in senior roles supporting elderly clients, individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and autism. This extensive background ensures every companion is trained, vetted, and guided by someone who truly understands the importance of dignity, respect, and meaningful connection.
